Dining Area [88 sq metres]:

There is a large dining area with a dedicated servery area to deliver meals to individual tastes and dietary requirements. Timber dining tables seat four for personalised service and have placemats and flower displays to provide a homelike environment. The attractive fabric covered dining chairs have arm rests to offer support and comfort.

Lounge Area [39 sq metres]:

The lounge area is comfortable with attractive fabric covered chairs and sofas with side tables. There is a feature wall cabinet unit incorporating a library area and piano for entertainment. The lounge leads out through double doors to a large balcony [50 sq metres] with views of the sensory garden walkway. The balcony has timber tables and chairs and large umbrellas for weather protection and is a pleasant area to sit and relax.

Activities areas [27 sq metres]

The activity room leads off the lounge area and has good views and lots of natural light from the large windows. A range of activities are offered for residents’ enjoyment and entertainment.

Chapel [73 sq metres]

There is a large Chapel that seats 40-50 people and is used for church services, concerts and other functions for residents. There is an organ and piano for music and a video system for services and entertainment. The Chapel has high vaulted ceilings with all walls comprised of floor to ceiling windows. Doors lead out to a splendid garden courtyard with raised beds and the other side to a large undercover area where Ruby – Olivet’s Austin 5 vintage car is proudly displayed.

Internal Garden Courtyard [90 sq metres]:

This is a beautiful peaceful green space featuring a fountain, mature Myrtle trees, roses, ornamental plants and seasonal colourful potted flowers. An ideal area for residents to sit and chat with friends and family.

Café Service:

This welcome service operates to provide morning and afternoon tea for families and friends visiting the facility. Lunches are also available of order.

Sensory Garden [245 sq metres]:

Featured on Gardening Australia and leading off the Acacia Wing is Olivet’s Sensory Garden which is ramped for ease of access and enjoyment of the many wandering paths with many different textured and scented plants. This area is available for all residents and their families. A picnic area with BBQ is situated at the end of the walk.
