Are you a carer of a person who has dementia, dementia with challenging behaviours, or caring for someone frail and elderly? If so, Olive Grove House at Olivet is a service provided that is fully funded by the Australian Government.

Services at Olive Grove House

Olive Grove House is a large and bright open plan area with floor to ceiling windows bringing the beautiful garden areas into the main activity room. There are four areas for activities, of which two are located outside in a secure garden setting that includes a potting shed, raised garden beds, outdoor seating and BBQ area. Indoors there is a well-equipped and safe activity kitchen and lounge / dining area.

The centre is open Monday to Friday with some early evening finishing times and Saturday / Public holiday sessions, however we will be responsive and

flexible to fit in with your needs. Transport for pick-up and put-down is available for carers within a 10 kilometre radius of Olivet.

Olive Grove House is staffed with experienced Diversional Therapists and assistants who also have nursing qualifications.
